Serving the Holland
Community for
over 62 years...
The Kiwanis Club of Holland is part of
Kiwanis International and has been serving the Holland community for
over 62 years. Kiwanis International is a thriving organization of
service- and community-minded individuals who support children and
young adults around the world.
More than 500,000 Kiwanis-family members
in more than 80 countries make their mark by responding to the needs
of their communities and pooling their resources to address worldwide
issues. Through these efforts, Kiwanis International truly is "Serving
the Children of the World."
The Kiwanis Club of Holland has a camp
(Kamp Kiwanis) located on Lakeshore Drive near Tunnel Park. This
33-acre facility is made available to youth groups and children’s
organizations for various outings.
The Kiwanis Club of Holland meets each Monday at 6:15 PM. The weekly
meetings include dinner, fellowship, and discussions about our club
goals and initiatives. Meetings are held at Kamp Kiwanis, 385 N.
Lakeshore Drive.

Six Objects of Kiwanis
-
To give primacy to the
human and spiritual rather
than to the material values of life.
-
To
encourage the daily living of the Golden Rule in
all human relationships.
-
To
promote the adoption and the application of
higher social, business, and professional standards.
-
To
develop, by precept and example, a more
intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship.
-
To
provide, through Kiwanis clubs, a practical
means to form enduring friendships, to render
altruistic service, and to build better communities.
-
To
cooperate in creating and maintaining that sound
public opinion and high idealism which make possible
the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism,
and goodwill.
